One-Way Traffic for Drop Off and Pick Up

  • Our one-way traffic controls are for student safety and traffic flow during recovery and reconstruction from the January 2017 fire.  The one-way traffic controls will be enforced for this school year.  Your cooperation is greatly appreciated and helps drop off and pick up go much smoother for all.
    • A.M. drop off in the 4/5/6th parking area from 7:30-8:15 a.m. is for all students.
    • No drop off by B-7, students will be walked to the crosswalk and escorted to where they need to go from the 4/5/6th area.
    • After school pick up will be in the 4/5/6th parking area only.
    • Busses will load and unload students in front of the school office.  Students will be escorted to the bus, and continuing on to the crosswalk and the pick up area at the 4/5/6 parking lot.

Construction Zone - Use Caution

  • Curtis Creek Facility Update

Fire (A Building):  Plans are at the California Department of State Architect (DSA) awaiting final approval.  The construction will then go out to a bid process. Hopefully, construction will begin in late November. Drawings of what the new construction will look like are up in the school office. Feel free to stop by and take a look.

Mudslide (A11-14 Wing):  The District Office staff have been working with Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and California Operation of Emergency Services (CalOES) for the past year on the applications required for the slope stabilization behind classrooms A-11 through A-14. We will be submitting three solutions, and FEMA will choose the most cost effective for Curtis Creek to pursue. The work to stabilize the slope may begin as early as Summer 2018.

For public safety we ask that all visitors to campus whether during or after school hours to please use caution and respect the no entry signage on the construction fencing.  Heavy construction equipment and actvities take place behind the fencing and it is unsafe for access.  Only authorized personnel have permission to enter the area.

It is vital for your safety that you do not enter or take short cuts through the construction zone whether you are visiting campus during or after school hours.
