Our School

Curtis Creek School District was founded on May 16th, 1865 originally in the Sullivan Creek area of Sonora. The district encompasses the area of East Sonora, the Phoenix Lake area, and south of Highway 108 to just north of Groveland School District. After the town of Standard was formed, a new school was built in May of 1915 on Standard Road.

In 2015, we at Curtis Creek School celebrated our 150th anniversary!

Curtis Creek offers an instructional program fit to enrich and progress our students into their future of academic success. Our school provides daily instruction in new STEAM curriculum, physical education, music and band, arts, sciences, mathmatics, and English language studies for all K-8 students. Be sure to check out the Athletics tab - Curtis Creek School is also heavily involved with local sports programs.

Curtis Creek is proud to endorse a highly active "Curtis Creek Parents Association" who raise thousands yearly for the benefit of the students who attend our school.
