Free and Low Cost Internet Assistance

Comcast/Xfinity offers an Internet Essentials package with speeds up to 25 Mbps for New Xfinity customers who are eligible for public assistance programs. You can found out more about this option here: https://www.internetessentials.com/

AT&T offers an access program internet with speeds up to 10 Mbps for households where at least one person participates in SNAP. You can find out more about this option here: https://www.att.com/internet/access/

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has Lifeline discounts for households that make less than 135% of federal poverty guidelines or have at least one member participating in certain public assistance programs. You can find more information here: https://www.lifelinesupport.org/. AT&T and Frontier are on this list, but other companies may participate. Please ask the service provider if they offer Lifeline in your area.

The FCC also offers Enhanced Lifeline benefits for low-income households on federally recognized Tribal lands. You can find more information about this program here: https://www.lifelinesupport.org/additional-support-for-tribal-lands/.
