California Assessment of Student Progress and Performance
California Assessment of Student Progress and Performance (CAASPP) is the current platform adopted by the State of California Department of Education for measuring student progress on an annual basis. Annual testing is conducted in the spring of each academic year. Students with IEP and 504 Plans are provided accommodations according to their individual plans.
In 2014-15, Curtis Creek School District conducted the testing for English Language Arts and Mathematics by participating in the online testing program known as Smarter Balanced Assessment System. Science tests for 5th and 8th grade students were conducted by paper and pencil through the CAASPP program.
Testing dates for the current academic year will be announced through the school newsletters and website. If you want to know more about the current testing program, please refer to the CAASPP Quicklinks to the right.
